The Empire of Arian

Summary:
Arian is a very small island empire of about 65,000 citizens. The nations military is highly tuned to psychic and mental abilities, specializing in transportation and gravitational manipulation. Technology isn't one it their strengths, in fact most technology is prohibited by law. Weaponry consists of gunblades, swords, spears, rifles, etc. Military rank is a great honor and it is very hard for a "peasant-class" person to even join. In their previous location, what seemed like a peaceful nation was in constant turmoil from internal and external forces. Knowing his nation would not survive in such chaos, emperor Kazemaru used all his strength to teleport it to a seemingly safer dimension known as Spero. Now leaving the fate of the empire he sacrificed his life for in the hands of his only daughter Reia.

Political: Empire/ relations not yet established with the other nations.
City Info: Most of the nations cities are small villages built around farming lands owned by their ancestors. The only large city in the country at this point is Katsutakakshi, the capital. Most of it's citizens live of rural farms and some in mountain villages cut off from the rest of the nation. Those who live in the mountain range are highly skilled in the arts of war.
Capital City:Katsutakashi, small but lively, the capital is a wonderful place to live. In the center of it the emperor's castle stands, watching over it's people. To the east of the castle's walls is large public garden that provides much of the produce needed for sustaining it's people. To the west is the markets and shops. Surrounding the entire castle is civilians homes, shops, bakeries, blacksmiths, and shrines.
Mountain Province of Kaie: Kaie is the mountain range in the north. There are only small villages in this area of Arian. Those who live in these villages are cut off from the rest of the nation and prefer not to get involved in civil matters. Hakuoro, the village Naoya was born in, is one of the largest in the area. Many who live in the mountains have Telekinetic powers beyond that of those in the cities.
Naoya Kanashige, born in a mountain village, was discovered to have telekinetic abilities beyond that of a normal person. (Abilities not yet fully known.) Orphaned at a young age of 7, he was brought into the emperor's house. The emperor not having a son took kindly to this and accepted him without question. At age 10 Naoya began to study strategy and the art of war. He joined the military to his guardian's dismay. Rising throught the ranks with ease he is now the lord of the army. He is Reia's bodyguard, a task took upon himself. His personality is cold and calm however he is irritated by insults directed at Reia.
