Major historical events

5174 – The Angons invade the original Navii nation scattering its people throughout the old continent. Due to the false belief that the Navii harbor witches and practice black magic, they are treated harshly and given few freedoms.

5226 – David von Mathew, a Navii, marries Princess Alice of York. When he is revealed to be Navii, the resulting scandal further degrades the Navii’s social standing and freedoms.

54 c. – The Angons become decadent. Some, finding their lifestyle void of morality and spirituality, turn to the Navii for spiritual guidance.

5381 – Yames Ben Avigail peaches that it is no longer necessary to follow the laws and customs of the Navii. One must only act morally. He gains a following among the Angons. The Navii turn their back on this group when it becomes clear they will not follow their laws and customs.

55c. The Angon Empire collapses. New smaller nations form. However, the Navii are too scattered to form their own nation.

5519 – A virulent hemorrhagic plague tears through the region. The Navii try to help the region with doctors and healers as well as maintaining essential services. People are grateful to the Navii and the Navii see an upturn in their prosperity.

5658 -5660 - The region is devastated by floods. Many people wait for government or other assistance. The Navii however do their best to rebuild with what they have. Their success at doing so is met with jealousy and hostility by those waiting for aid.

5752 – The Hierophant of Morden declares a crusade against all Navii. Many other national and religious leaders follow suit. Millions of Navii are killed, injured, or displaced from their homes.

5761 – The Navii found the colony of Shalom on the shores of Spiro. Huge numbers of refugees flock to the new land. In the same year the Navii encounter the Daoine au Mude an aboriginal people.

5763 – A second colony New Marna is partially destroyed in an avalanche.

5765 – The Daoine massacre a commune after the Navii cut down one of their sacred groves. High Priest Labben Ben Sarah negotiates a peace between the two sides.

5766 – The people elect Luke Ben Shira king.

5769 – After winning decisive victories against slavers trying to capture Daoine, Luke Ben Shira seeks and receives UN recognition for his country.

5769 – An Ultra-Orthodox religious group seeks to force their observances on all Navii. Luke Ben Shira creates a constitution to protect people’s freedoms. Shortly after it is ratified by the Knesset, Ben Shira is murdered. His niece Sarah bat Leah is crowned queen.


Military

Overview: The national defense force is made up of career soldiers, conscripts, and reservists. Officially all citizens reaching the age of 18 must join the defense force or accept alternative community service. In reality there are many ways to get out of mandatory service. The national defense force makes no distinction between genders except those required by biology. After their three years are up, all citizens automatically become reservists until their 40th birthday. Reservists are responsible for keeping and maintaining their equipment in their homes.

In the ancient Navii kingdom it was traditional for the old queen’s daughter to abdicate in favor of her next oldest sister’s oldest daughter. It has yet to be seen if this will happen.

Unicameral Knesset (27 members. Their only real powers are to ratify the monarch’s coronation and to ratify amendments. However they can and do decide what laws should be proposed to the reigning monarch)

Beit Din Gadol (made up of the 71 most senior judges in the land. They meet only rarely for special cases such as capital punishment cases or high treason.)

Well done. I think I'm probably going to copy the format you used. Did you use the US dollar in the exchange rate just as a point of reference or does the US exist in this world we will be rping in?

im gonna use the same formatt also. and does the US exist? thats a good question XD

First what has been produced is part one. There are several more sections missing such as government and military. The format is basically what is suggested in the thread about making fact books.

Second the US Dollar is used because that is how the GDP [gross domestic product] and such is generally determined. I'm not sure if the US exists or not but I'm sure somewhere there is an "old continent" nation that other nations use its currency as a standard to compare items like GDP and debt with. The dollar is the unit they use.

The last sections have been added though while formatting I noticed a few things I need to change.
